Deadria Farmer-Paellmann

Deadria Farmer-Paellmann is credited with popularizing the slavery reparations movement through her groundbreaking research exposing corporate complicity in slavery.

She is founder and Executive Director of the Restitution Study Group, a 26-year-old New York metro-area non-profit dedicated to securing justice for the transatlantic enslavement of African people

Most recently that work has led to advocacy to establish shared ownership of the slave trade Benin bronzes between Afrodescendants and the Benin Kingdom, and founding of the Benin Kingdom Museum -- coming soon to Harlem, New York.
