Fernanda Lomba is a filmmaker and cultural manager. She was an artist-in-residence at Cité internationale des arts through Institut Français in 2024. She is part of the Projeto Paradiso talent network.
In 2021, she directed her first short film, A Noite, commissioned by the Embassy of Germany in Brazil. She has served as a juror for festivals in Brazil and abroad, including Cannes Docs, Festival de Gramado, and Festival de Brasília do Cinema Brasileiro.
She is the founder of Instituto Nicho 54, an initiative focused on research, education, and internationalization for Black artists and entrepreneurs. Her current work combines auteur-driven creation and aesthetic research, with a focus on memory, territory, and power. She also works in the development of programs and strategies for cultural distribution.
