Franciane Abassan

In 2009, she became an associate at Qwest Media, where she also served as a producer and Head of Sales. As an international sales agent, she has presented a wide range of content, including documentaries, children’s programs, and feature dramas that have received prestigious awards at world-renowned festivals such as Sundance.

In March 2020, she became a production and creative mentor for Langages du Sud, a new animation studio based in Morocco, as part of an AFD-supported program for its first 3D animation pilot, “Lina & Adam.” Since then, she has also mentored emerging producers from Côte d’Ivoire and Tunisia working on animation series projects, supporting the development of new creative voices.

She is currently developing her first feature documentary as both producer and director, after decades of experience bringing others’ stories to international audiences.
