Ingrid Jean-Baptiste is a French-American entrepreneur, actress, and cultural advocate based in New York City. She is the Co-Founder and Artistic Director of the Chelsea Film Festival, an international platform dedicated to championing independent filmmakers and emerging voices from around the world. Since founding the festival in 2013, she has helped grow it into a recognized annual cultural event in Manhattan, known for its global programming, industry conversations, and commitment to impactful storytelling.
A graduate of La Sorbonne University and The Lee Strasberg Theatre & Film Institute, Ingrid began her career in journalism before transitioning into entertainment. She is also an actress and producer, and serves on the Board of Directors of The Lee Strasberg Theatre & Film Institute. Deeply committed to representation and cultural exchange, she is a passionate advocate for Caribbean and international talent in the arts.
