Vineeta Mishra is a film market architect, curator, and industry strategist with over 19 years of experience across global film markets, content strategy, programming, acquisitions, and international collaborations. She currently serves as Head of Programming & Market Strategy for National Film Development Corporation’s Film Bazaar, South Asia’s largest film market, and WAVES Bazaar, where she leads initiatives that connect filmmakers, producers, studios, streamers, sales agents, and financiers across international markets. She has been instrumental in shaping South Asia’s evolving film market ecosystem through platforms such as the Co Production Market, Work in Progress Lab, Screenwriters’ Lab, and the launch of WAVES Bazaar, India’s first integrated AVGC and emerging media market platform. Her work focuses on creating pathways for co productions, financing, distribution, and global collaborations for South Asian storytellers while strengthening India’s position within the global screen industry ecosystem.
