Canal+ University
Springboard program that contributes to the development of audiovisual and cinema professions (journalist, actor, editor...) and facilitates the emergence of African talents both in front of and behind the camera
Deployed in Africa, CANAL+ University offers training programs that enhance the professionalization of local audiovisual sectors and promote the professional integration and skill development of trainees. These French-language training programs cover all French-speaking African countries and are organized in partnership with specialized organizations, schools, and festivals.
Institut Français
The Institut français is the pivotal operator for the Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Culture in implementing France's foreign cultural policy.
Its missions are to support and animate the French network of cooperation and cultural action abroad; to accompany French creators and cultural and creative industries in their development on an international scale; to strengthen the dialogue between cultures and societies; and finally to promote the French language and plurilingualism.
The Institut français works worldwide.
It pays particular attention to developing cultural entrepreneurship in Africa, strengthening cooperation between youth and civil societies in Europe, and cultural and creative industries in the Indo-Pacific.

Cinématèque Afrique
Created in 1961 by the Ministry of Cooperation, the African Cinémathèque contributes to the conservation, restoration, digitization, promotion, and dissemination of African cinema worldwide. It provides researchers and programmers with a catalog of more than 1,700 titles, of which more than 600 titles are royalty-free for non-commercial distribution.
CISAC
CISAC – the International Confederation of Societies of Authors and Composers – is the world’s leading network of authors’ societies.
With over 220 member societies in more than 110 countries, CISAC represents more than 5 million creators from all geographic areas and all artistic repertoires; music, audiovisual, drama, literature and visual arts.
CISAC protects the rights and promotes the interests of creators worldwide. We enable collective management organisations to seamlessly represent creators across the globe and ensure that royalties flow to authors for the use of their works anywhere in the world.

Silicon Valley African Film Festival (SVAFF)
The Silicon Valley African Film Festival promotes an understanding and appreciation of Africa and Africans through moving images. Aptly themed “Africa through the African lens”, the film festival celebrates the vast richness of the African Continent through the lenses of Africa’s seasoned and emerging filmmakers and, crucially, provides audiences with exquisite lenses to the real Africa.
