Former broadcast news anchor for both NBC and ABC News affiliates, Rudy is a journalist, emcee, podcast host and voice talent. Hosting major events including Sheryl Lee Ralph’s Diva’s Simply Singing Red Carpet, the National Civil Rights Museum Freedom Awards Red Carpet and more.
Recognized with an Associated Press Award for broadcast work and by the advertising world with a regional American Advertising Award,
Rudy has shaped communications and marketing for 100 Black Men of America, Thurgood Marshall College Fund and University of Maryland Eastern Shore.
Rudy led the opening of the New York bureau of Rolling Out Magazine, now an online lifestyle platform, the publication continues to captivate coverage of the Black social and cultural scenes.
Adding to his credits: writer, director, performer for stage and film working with the nationally acclaimed Alliance Theatre Company, the origins of Broadway's Tony Award winning The Lion King and The Color Purple.
